A winner will be picked at random from a list of names that have LIKED HallCraft during the month.

The winner will be posted on HallCraft’s facebook page on the last day of the month. It is your responsibility to make contact once name has been announced and make the arrangements to claim the prize.

Prize is transferable to a family member ONLY.

Service must be taken within 6 months of winning.

The winners name and any photographs may be used for marketing purposes.

Fixed price servicing is carried out following strictly, check sheet FPJH/0811. Any additional work will not be carried out and charged for unless we gain the bill payers permission. By authorising a fixed price service you are allowing HallCraft to carry out what is set out in check sheet FPJH/0811. No responsibility can be accepted for any additional items or problems not identified that are not part of the check sheet FPJH/0811.

Any vehicle on variable servicing is exempt from fixed price servicing unless the customer specifically has asked for the vehicle to be removed from that regime. After removing a vehicle from its variable regime it is possible that in some cases the service light will read incorrect. No responsibility for this can be accepted

Where a service light is on, we will during the service reset. HallCraft cannot be responsible for the time or conditions in which the light will then come back on.

Fixed price servicing does not represent manufacturers servicing in any way and has been specifically tailored by HallCraft to give a transparent and value for money alternative.

Based on experience we recommend a B service at least every 3rd year or 30,000 miles.

If the vehicle has an extended warranty HallCraft can except no responsibility for choice of service level required by the warranty company and therefore recommends that the individual warranty policy is studied by the owner to ensure that the fulfillment of the warranty company is met during a HallCraft fixed service.

By specifying to have either an ‘A’ or ‘B’ service you agree for HallCraft to follow service check sheet ‘FPJH/0811’ a copy of which is available to view at any time prior to booking the service and of which is handed complete to the bill payer after the service is complete.

Parts used are either ‘original spare parts’ or of ‘matching quality’ and are recorded as a ‘service kit’.

All parts used by HallCraft are manufactured to Original Equipment (OE) quality. All parts are guaranteed for a minimum 12 months or 12,000 miles (whichever is sooner).

Engine oils used are branded, meeting or exceeding the grade specified by the manufacturer.

HallCraft can and will always advise customers in a professional and honest manner, however, our customers must satisfy themselves that the fixed price service meets their requirements.

HallCraft reserve the right to decline the request to service a vehicle without giving an explanation.

Offer may be withdrawn at any time.


Payment for any service or parts provided. 

Once the vehicle has been finished, payment can be taken by debit card, credit card or cash. Cheques will only be accepted if agreed in advance. Only upon receiving payment for all work done, will the vehicle be returned to the customer.

Collection & delivery

Our collection & delivery service is for your convenience and is operated entirely at our discretion. In general, FREE collection and delivery will include a distance of approximately 8 miles from our address. Collections outside of this will also be considered.

Delivery can only take place back to the collection address.

Vehicles will only be delivered back once payment in full has been accepted.


Courtesy Cars  

HallCraft (the Lender) will loan you (the Hirer) a Courtesy Vehicle subject to the following Terms & Conditions:

The Hirer is the sole driver of the vehicle during the period of the loan and that it is only used for purposes covered by the Hirers insurance. You are responsible for the care of the vehicle and all charges, even if you have asked someone else to be responsible for them.

The Hirer is responsible for insuring the vehicle with Fully Comprehensive Insurance prior to and while the vehicle is on loan and must provide their insurance details on collection of the vehicle. In some cases we may ask your insurer to note our registration on your policy or cover note.

No Additional Driver is allowed to drive the vehicle at any time unless agreed.

The Hirer or any other authorised driver must be over 25 years old and hold a full UK driving license which has been valid for more than 12 months and must not :
i. use the vehicle for hire or reward;
ii. use the vehicle for any illegal purpose;
iii. use the vehicle for racing, pacemaking, testing the vehicle’s reliability and speed or teaching someone to drive;
iv. use the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
v. drive the vehicle outside England, Scotland and Wales, unless we have given you written permission;
vi. load the vehicle beyond the manufacturer’s maximum weight recommendations and make sure that the load is secured safely;
vii. if the vehicle is a commercial vehicle, use it for a purpose for which you need an operator’s licence if you do not have one.

Additional items such as bike racks/roof racks are not permitted to be fitted to the vehicle.

Towing is not permitted.

Smoking and the carrying of animals is not permitted in the vehicle.

The Hirer must look after the vehicle and always lock the vehicle when you are not using it.

The Hirer is responsible for the safe care and use of the vehicle during the loan period and must always protect the vehicle against bad weather which can cause damage.

The Hirer must make sure that you use the correct fuel.

The Hirer must not sell, rent or dispose of the vehicle or any of its parts. You must not give anyone any legal rights over the vehicle.

The Hirer must let us know as soon as you become aware of a fault with the vehicle.

If the vehicle is damaged or stolen you will let us negotiate with the insurers about whether the vehicle can be repaired or what compensation is due to us. You are financially responsible for settling the full claim and paying all costs if the policy you have arranged fails and the vehicle is damaged, lost or stolen, or a claim as made by any other party.

The Hirer accepts that, irrespective of liability they are liable to make immediate payment for any loss or damage however caused during the loan and will indemnify the Lender against any claims or action, consequential or otherwise arising from the loan. This includes keys to the vehicle.

The Lender is not liable for loss or damage to property carried in the vehicle during the loan.

The Hirer will return the vehicle by 18.00hrs on the Date of Return stipulated unless otherwise agreed with the Lender.

A mileage of 50 miles per day is permitted, unless otherwise agreed in writing with the Lender. Excess mileage will be charged at 10p/mile and payable on return of the vehicle.

If you do not bring the vehicle back on time you are breaking the conditions of this agreement. We can charge you for every day or part-day you have the vehicle after you should have returned it to us. Until we get the vehicle back we will charge you the daily rate published at the place you have loaned the vehicle from.

The Hirer accepts any offences/contraventions arising from their use of the vehicle under Road Traffic Offenders and Road Traffic Regulations Acts, subordinate legislation and other authority regulation e.g. congestion charges, parking, use of bus lanes etc and shall indemnify the Lender accordingly. All fines and court costs for parking, traffic or other offences (including any costs which arise if the vehicle is clamped) must be paid to the appropriate authority. If you do not, you will be responsible to pay additional administration charges which arise when we deal with these matters as well as the standard £30.00 administration fee.

You must not let anyone work on the vehicle without our permission. If we do give you permission we will only give you a refund if we have agreed the costs first. You must have a receipt for the work.

In the event of an accident or breakdown the Hirer must contact the Lender immediately by telephone (01384 561122 during business hours) or out of hours call the RAC using the card in the tax disc holder.

The Hirer is not authorised to arrange recovery or repairs during business hours without the consent of the Lender. If a breakdown or accident occurs out of business hours the RAC must be called using the card in the tax disc holder.

The Lender will re-charge any costs incurred for recovery or repair in or out of hours if the problem could have been avoided. This includes call out for wheel changes.

The Hirer is responsible for windscreen, body glass, tyre damage and puncture repairs.

The Hirer is responsible for the fuel and other consumables, and for the checking and maintaining levels and tyre pressures during the loan.

The Hirer must bring the vehicle back to the place we agreed, during the opening hours displayed at that place, rates for collecting the vehicle if you fail to return it will apply. If we have agreed that you may return the vehicle outside business hours, you will remain responsible for the vehicle and its condition until it is re-inspected by a member of our team. You will have to pay for reasonable costs of repair if you return the vehicle damaged, this includes the inside of the vehicle and valeting charges.

A loss-of-income charge, when we demand it, will be payable if we cannot loan out the vehicle because it; needs to be repaired, it is a write-off (can’t be repaired) or it has been stolen and we are waiting to receive full payment of the vehicle’s value or that Customs and Excise, a police authority or a private security company have seized the vehicle.

Before you bring back the vehicle you must check that you have not left any personal belongings in the vehicle.


In general

HallCraft will not be liable for any damage or delay in the services provided if the reasons are down to “an act of God”, “industrial action such as strikes”, “government disputes” or factors to be deemed out of control of HallCraft. If a vehicle is complete and the customer fails to collect, the locked vehicle will be left outside of our premises and no responsibility will be taken for loss or damage to vehicle or goods.
