“I’m constantly looking to do better, to improve what we do and consider new opportunities, particularly the advancement in technology,” James explained.
“I regularly attend conferences and exhibitions looking for ways I can improve as an owner, and ways that HallCraft can improve as a business.
“We know that the advancement in technology provides us with better tooling and equipment, with new opportunities to help customers.
“But also the advancement of AI and tools that help us to improve our five-star customer service.
“The conference was fascinating, it was an opportunity to sit back and consider methods and approaches that we maybe would not previously thought relevant for a garage.
“But being able to understand how this could be tapped into and how we can take ideas from other industries to help us was really interesting.”
Cradley Heath

HallCraft has a 6,200 sq ft premises in Cradley Heath with a stand alone 1,700 sq foot bodyshop with ultra sophisticated paint mixing facility to provide the perfect colour match for all cars and vans.
“We have been really working hard over the past couple of years to embrace technology and future proof the business,” James added.
“We are very proud of the way we work and the five-star feedback on Google and other review sites suggest we are getting in right.
“But we will never simply accept that we can’t do more, that we can’t learn and improve and events like this are really eye opening.
“Just when you think you are ahead of the game you realise there is so much more we can still do to be better.”
The two-day conference borough together business leaders and celebrities to discuss ideas and provide valuable business insight.
Aside from the thought leadership and presentations delegates were able to network with exhibitors and suppliers and TV star DJ Vernon Kay hosted an awards ceremony to recognised some of the leading entrepreneurs.
