HallCraft have introduced a Covid-19 Safe ‘Collect From Home’ service.
The Cradley Heath based MOT, Service and accident repair specialists have adopted a ‘socially distanced’ approach to car collection.
It means HallCraft can keep their customers on the road despite the current restrictions following the Covid-19 lockdown.
They will prioritise the service to ensure those that need it most are able to take advantage.
HallCraft Managing Director James Hopcraft, said: “We have provided a collection service for a number of years but, we have had to adapt the way that system operates.
“We have created a socially distanced method of collecting customer cars which removes the need for any sort of physical interaction.
“Customers arrange a time for us to collect their vehicle. We arrive, knock the door and leave a key box for the customer, which is already lined with disinfectant wipes.
“They drop their keys, we clean them and any touching points in the car before applying seat covers and then driving it to our garage in Cradley Heath.
Free Car Valet
“We carry out whatever work is required, the customer pays over the phone and their car receives a courtesy valet before it is returned with the keys disinfected and invoice left at the customers front door.
“It’s a slightly slower process for us but it is very thorough and allows our customers to feel confident and safe – whilst ensuring the HallCraft team stay safe.”
HallCraft have been providing MOTs, servicing and accident repairs to cars and vans from their Cradley Heath base for more than 25-years.
