HallCraft is looking to recruit a Service Advisor at our Cradley Heath headquarters.
This is an important role as we approach our 30th anniversary and prepare to build a state-of-the-art customer waiting area.
The role will include:
- Being present at the service reception desk during opening hours, ensuring that all customer queries – whether in person or on the telephone – are answered and dealt with immediately
- Ensuring customers are aware of service & repair work required on their vehicles in a professional and consultative manner
- Managing the customer experience from the initial enquiry right through to work completion
- Being responsible for daily diary bookings
- Providing advice on estimated costs for service & repairs at the enquiry stage
- Costing & selling additional work, appropriate to each customer’s needs during their visit using out eVHC system
- Advising on and managing timescales for vehicle collection, completion and delivery throughout the working day
- Managing courtesy car, collection & delivery bookings
- Preparing and presenting invoices following completion of work, ensuring all work has been carried out as detailed and charged for before obtaining payment in line with company procedures.
You should be:
- Smart in appearance, confident and well-mannered.
- Able to work in a team, and have excellent communication skills.
- Experienced enough to fully explain consistently and with integrity to customers the value of any additional work necessary.
Experience
- The ideal candidate will have experience in a Service Advisor role at an independent, national chain or from within a Dealership environment
- Familiar with and understanding electronic Vehicle Heath Checks (eVHC)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build a strong relationship with both Customers and other members of staff
- Experience using 1link and or Gemini would be beneficial
- Computer Literate
- Systematic, highly organised with a keen eye for detail
