HallCraft Offer Free Winter Vehicle Health Check

HallCraft will mark the end of British Summertime with FREE Winter Vehicle checks for motorists in the West Midlands.

They want to keep motorists safe as the clocks go back and the nights get longer by ensuring vehicles are ready for the arrival of the cold, wet weather.

Tyres, wiper blades, coolant, lights, and brake fluid are just five examples covered in HallCraft’s exhaustive 57-POINT electronic vehicle health check.

The 57-point electronic vehicle health check takes 30 minutes and normally costs £48.

But HallCraft will offer vehicle checks for FREE in October and November as the leading independent garage prepares to celebrate 30 years of serving motorists in Cradley Heath, Stourbridge and Halesowen.

Cradley Heath Community

“We are very proud of our work and delighted that over the years we have been able to help so many members of the community so this is a little thank you,” explained HallCraft boss James Hopcraft.

“It is so important that our vehicles are properly maintained and looked after and yet sadly, we take them for granted until we have a problem.

“The health check helps our customers understand their vehicles better and pay attention to things we take for granted, or maybe don’t feel confident checking.

“We get into our vehicle and expect it to work, often without considering the stress it has been under through wear and tear, or the other extreme of inactivity.

“So HallCraft created a 57-point check to cover every aspect of the vehicle and provide motorists with the confidence that their vehicle is in good health and safe.

“It highlights issues that require attention from the basics of washer fluid, the conditions of tyres, springs, ball joints and suspension, and everything you need to know about your car to prepare our customers for Winter.”

Free Vehicle Health Check

HallCraft will offer free limited time only electronic vehicle health checks on a first-come-first-serve basis throughout October and November.

James added: “The shift to darker, shorter days means your car’s critical systems will be working harder. From lighting and battery life to tyre grip in wet conditions, getting ahead of potential issues can save you both time and money.

“There are a number of things you should keep an eye on, they are relatively easy but we are here to help anyone who doesn’t maybe have the confidence.

“Have a read of our summary below or call us and book a slot to let our brilliant team of technicians do it for you.”

Winter Health Check

  1. Lights: With reduced daylight, it’s vital to check that all your exterior lights are in working order. Don’t forget the fog lights, these are especially important at this time of year.
  2. Tyres: Wet, icy roads require tyres with good tread and the correct pressure. Under-inflated tyres can reduce grip and affect braking distances.
  3. Battery: Colder temperatures can put a strain on your battery, it’s a good idea to get it checked now to avoid any surprises as winter sets in.
  4. Wiper Blades: Clear vision is essential in rainy, low sun and foggy conditions. Ensure your wiper blades are in good condition and replace them if necessary.
  5. Fluid Levels: Make sure your oil, coolant, and screen wash levels are topped up. Freezing conditions can cause engine damage if fluids aren’t maintained.

To help you stay on top of these checks, we’re offering a limited amount of FREE vehicle health checks throughout October & November and will even adjust your dashboard clock, just in case you’ve forgotten how to do it!
